WTT Smash Hits News / Awesome MAXIM-videos
As reported, Anna joins the line-up for WTT Smash Hits at the Bren Events Center on the University of California, Irvine Campus, on monday, October 11th 2004 (7pm)! Anna and tennis legend Tracy Austin are scheduled to play Mixed Doubles with Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi. One team will be captained by by Sir Elton John, the other team by Billie Jean King. Both, Sir Elton John and Billie Jean King, also plan to participate in a celebrity doubles event together with Anna and Andy Roddick to open the event!

Audio songs (I start with one Track) I made in the
past! Okay okay, it was done with an old Commodore
Amiga 500 Plus but all these songs really meant much
for me and of course they still do! Don't except World Class Hits, guys!

Another Website Layout Update
After changing the basic color of the AKFS from #0066CC to #FF3300 (hex code) I think it's time to get rid of the "old" and traditional hairline-table-layout! What do I mean? Take a look into the Tour Gallery-Webpages where I already installed new head tables ("2004 Tour Gallery" etc.)!
I will make images for the top of the most of the tables on this website but this will take some time! I hope you will like the result! Do YOU have any suggestions???

Anna @ L'Oreal Paris Style Lab Opening / Anna to appear on "The Apprentice"
Guess what Anna recently does? Yes - Anna took part in the L'Oreal Paris Style Lab Los Angeles Opening on September 17th, 2004 (perhaps some kind of new endorsement deal???)! She looks beautiful as usual and you can see her posing for photographers beside Milla Jovovich and Jean Paul Agon, President and CEO L'Oreal USA. See pictures:

See the WTA 2005 Tour Calendar in PDF Format - I am a little bit surprised to see that the German Ladies Open in Berlin still appears on the Calendar because news occured that Berlin sold that german's biggest women tennis tournament...! Maybe we'll see adjustments!

Anna plays Exhibition in November
Anna, Venus and Serena will compete in the Lexus Tennis Challenge at Lexington's Rupp Arena on November 21st (start time TBA). Anna is scheduled to play a Singles match vs Venus!!! Read more

US Open 2004 comment / Paparazzis don't leave them alone
No news, just a comment by me: Currently I watch most of the Women's matches at the US Open (thanx to Eurosport) and well, sometimes Anna is still mentioned by the commentators (mostly negative comments...) - some examples:
- Match Henin-Hardenne vs Vaidisova (1st Round): The commentator said that Vaidisova already achieved sth Anna probably will never achieve - winning a tournament
- Match Dementieva vs Mauresmo: According to Matthias Stach (Eurosport's german commentator for this match) Dementieva said that she has nothing in common with Anna - although both once were in the same russian tennis club in Moscow (Spartak)
What
do I wanna say??? I doubt that we will ever see Anna
again. I still got hope, right! Remember her
comments back in July when she played World Team
Tennis! She said she still doesn't know if she can
play at New Haven and at the US Open...! What's now???
- NO SIGN of Anna in the stands (remember US Open
1999 when she was injured as well)
- NO SIGN of Anna having any kind of promo around
the US Open (remember last year's Open)
- NO COMMENT of Anna regarding her injury status or
comeback plans at all
- TO SUM IT UP: WE HEAR NOTHING!!!!
Anna, tell your remaining fans what you're planning. We deserve that!
Paparazzis don't leave them alone: Reportedly
a Paparazzi recently wanted to take pictures of Anna
as she just wanted to take off her Bikini top (remember
April 2001-backyard-topless-pictures)! Enrique
reportedly almost got into a fight with that guy and

Color change to come / Anna quite sure about marriage
I already informed you that the AKFS will shine bright in a new basic color - date of color change: Friday, September 3rd, 2004 - exactly 8 years after I first saw Anna :-) There won't be any content changes, just the basic color will turn into a lovely red.

news but just another quote which reveals that
Anna's obviously very sure that Enrique is THE ideal
man for her: "I'm not
saying 'No Comment', but I just don't
know when we're going to get married. There
are no current plans" - Anna said this
obviously when she surprised the Gillette contest
winner on August 10th!
Furthermore, Anna talks about her recent summer
activities ("I've been working on a few
projects...just with charities and children") and
her current injury/comeback status: "I haven't
trained because it's so hard. I need to train for
two to three months for at least five hours a day."

PERSONAL COMMENT: Well, just compare her (reported) comments from August 10th with what she said at Sunday Night's ESPN Sportscenter ("I am practising five days a week") - total confusion! Did her injury status get better SO MUCH within 3 weeks?!?!? Probably not. Who knows if all these reported quotes are accurate! Anna hasn't played competitive Tennis for nearly 1 1/2 years - fact! And I think that she won't come back anymore if she's 25/26! But as we all know, we never know with Anna!
