anna4ever.de - this means more than just a game with the "4" and "for"!ANNA4EVER - that is it!So how can it get even better? - a new mailing list will be implemented during the weekend - just receiving mails like at anna-fans.com PLUS unique links to pics or whatever from time to time.It is free of course, so I suggest you just subscribe.
Furthermore I appreciate YOUR help - The first wallpapers made by a fan will also appear during the weekend as well as 2 new ones made by myself.
Not to forget: ANNA TURNS 20 IN JUST 1 WEEK. I just say - subscribe to the new mailing list as soon as possible (probably Saturday, Sunday) because only there you will get a link to something very unique.
So you see - anna4ever.de will continue although this time with Anna sidelined for almost 4 punishing months is hard to bear.But especially in this time Anna needs support, needs to know that fans like me are behind her. That I want to show her by maintaining and constantly updating this website.

Anna in Paris TODAY doing another Omega-Presentation
Well,the Omega-contract seems to include numerous attempts of Anna throughout the year!This is the 3rd Omega-Attempt of Anna in less than a month and the 2nd in 8 days (last monday in Rome)! Well, this time she will wear something that will make her look like an "indian bride" or sth. like that but read more!
In my opinion on the one hand I am happy to know where she is but on the other hand I think she should more focus on her comeback. For sure,she will be training right now but this Omega-Show today, the last one just 8 days ago...!I think that she should cancel some promotional events.As you can see on the screenshot below she will be in Roland Garros throughout the French Open for sure!Of course she will be training in this time but probably some autograph hours and stuff like that also!

AN SURGERY ON HER FOOT!!!!
Even when you start thinking that it cannot get even worse than it does - the official WTA Website confirmed that Anna had an SURGERY ON HER INJURED FOOT in GERMANY!!!The exact date isn't mentioned but in my opinion it was after her Omega-Presentation in Berlin (Apr 27,2001)! So there are no words left for me to describe my frustrations and my fear of an Rest-2001 WITHOUT Anna!!!!This MAY NOT HAPPEN!
Her injury must be very very serious and this is more than frustrating but this SURGERY explains her early withdrawings from Berlin,Rome and the French Open - weeks in advance!!!She really must see NO chance for competing right now and this makes me sad, very sad!
Additionally I found out yesterday that Anna did another Omega-Appearance - this time in Rome on May 14,2001!Well,more Pics will follow!
What left can I say than that I just hope that this unbelievable BAD LUCK for Anna finally ends...

NO FRENCH OPEN FOR ANNA
Now it is official:
ANNA WON'T RETURN IN PARIS!!!!!!!!
Organisers say that her foot injury is still not healed enough and Anna still has to recover.
Well,to be honest:I really don't find an expression anymore to explain my frustrations.This will be the first Grand Slam without Anna since the US Open back in 99! There, Anna was also sidelined due to a stress fracture - in her RIGHT foot!How things are similar to each other...!
Well,what is left to say?I wish that ANNA would talk about what is really going on with her foot, everywhere you find just speculations of possible reinjuries and that she should have had plastered her foot etc.!My wish is really that ANNA talks about her injury,what it really is what sidelines her for nearly 4 months already!Perhaps like back in 1998 there will be a pre-Wimbledon Press conference where Anna answers all these questions.Perhaps.
Once again there is nothing else to do than just to hope and pray that Anna will be able to come back in Eastbourne (begins at June,18th) - her next scheduled event.
Remember:Who
would have thought back in February that her match agains Mauresmo would
be her last one within an age of 19???

HIGHEST RANKING vs. Comeback-Scare
Definitely hard times for an Anna-Fan!First of all the new Rankings since yesterday:
Anna advanced to her all-time Top Ranking: 8th in Singles!!How is this possible?Well,we recommend a look into the "The Fans"-Forum of the annak.org-Messageboard!There someone did explain how this is possible!In short terms:The WTA Ranking system counts the results of the previous 52 weeks!Also, players like Dementieva or Coetzer had to defend more points in Berlin than Anna from last year so Anna was able to leave them behind and regrap the title of "Russia's No.1" (Dementieva No.9,also injured)!
Well,so far the good news!
The really bad thing is that it seems that Anna hasn't still recovered from her stress fracture and things are getting more and more frustrating each and every day!WHEN WILL ANNA BE ABLE TO START HER COMEBACK???This remains our only important question.According to Phil de Picciotto (Annas Manager at Octagon) there will be an Announcement whether Anna will be at Roland Garros or not!

missed the US Open due to Injury and in 2000 she
almost had to withdraw from Roland Garros....due to
an Injury she suffered in Berlin.

Will Anna return in Roland Garros?
It is quite unsure if Anna will return in Roland Garros!When you read through the many Messageboards of the top Anna-Websites you really get the impression that NO ONE knows exactly if Anna will play there or not!
Well,we also don't know it and can just hope that Anna returns soon.

When will everything return to normality??
Hard stuff:As reported by the British tabloid "Mirror" a friend of Anna and Sergej should have said that both made a compromise: ANNA WILL MARRY SERGEJ IF SHE WINS WIMBLEDON!
Well,that's what this "friend" REPORTEDLY should have said.Perhaps this is just another rumour, perhaps there is some truth behind, I don't know and I would feel more comfortable if I wouldn´t know!
I wish Anna all luck on earth but does she really has to MARRY him????NOW????!In about one month she celebrates her 20th birthday,soooooo many years to come in her tennis career, please Anna, don't do it. I can just speak for myself and not for anybody else but I want to see you back on the courts as soon as possible, not in a church marrying Sergej!Ok,you would be happy and that would be the only reason for me to feel happy for you but deep inside I would be crying!

Another hope is gone...
Anna won't return in Rome - that is another frustrating message in short form!
Well,if Anna will be able to play Roland Garros,the highly prestigious 2nd Grand Slam of the Year,is totally unsure right now!Anna has not played any match since February 9!
In short words:The Frustration grows each day as well as the fear that Anna might be sidelined for many additionally weeks.
