At foxsports.com you can see a photo gallery entitled "Anna retrospective" with 34 images of Anna since the mid 90's!

Anna tattooed "Enrique" on her butt???: "mybanana" (member of official Messageboard) heard this on a LA radio station - obviously a tattoo artist came up with this news:
Anna came into his shop and wanted to have a tattoo on her BUTT - "Enrique"! After that, she reportedly left without paying...! More: Official Messageboard

PERSONAL COMMENT: I first thought "Should I really post this shit???"! But well, she already has a BIG tattoo on her lower back which she was covering for years (and remember her denial at the Aussie Open 2003)...! Who knows - although this story seems to be pure gossip. We'll never know I guess!

"Site recommended by"-section: Well, I decided to create a little corner her on the main page where I display websites which recommended my website about Anna Kournikova in the past! Personally, I am still very proud of BILD that they mentioned my website back in 2001 of being "the most beautiful fan-site"!

Do u still believe in Anna?
Anna played her last WTA match on April 9, 2003 - almost 16 months ago!!! Since then she just played 2 times World Team Tennis and a few exhibitions. She always says that she wants to come back to the Pro Tour but her back obviously still hasn't healed 100%. She says that she can practise a few hours a day and this a few consecutive days but she always says that her back still cannot take the WTA-pressure!

I think that EVERYONE who's visiting this website wants Anna to return to the Pro Tour. Everyone wants to see her play again, see her WINNING big matches again, wants her to play the Grand Slams again! That's what I think about people visiting my website!

Anna to release male perfum??? / Anna speaks spanish I read this at the official Messageboard: Anna to release a new men's fragrance entitled "Enrique"?!?!?!! This is obviously what Anna recently said: "JENNIFER LOPEZ did it with BEN AFFLECK and I plan to do the same. I will call the fragrance Enrique, of course."

PERSONAL COMMENT: I wouldn't be surprised if that happens - what more can I say...

Anna speaks spanish: I heard this before and additionally you could already read on the back of Anna's Official 2002 Calendar that she speaks 5 languages, including spanish! Now you can read at this popdirt.com-article that Enrique helped her learning spanish!

Anna's Official 2005 Calendar
JF Turner released a preview of Anna's 2005 calendar. Click on the calendar's back cover to see the monthly pictures and the few that were previewed on Maxim's August 2004 magazine. This calendar will be a 16 month 12" by 12" wall calendar dating from September 2004 through December 2005.

"Real Life on WTA Tour" TV show
The WTA Tour launches a 12-episodes TV series about the Life on the WTA Tour! This TV show will be aired on Eurosport (great because I live in Germany :-) but also on the Tennis Channel (USA)! The first show will be aired on July 26th (Eurosport) and August 8th on Tennis Channel! Read more

PERSONAL COMMENT: Sad - 1 1/2 years earlier and we definitely would have seen rare behind-the-scenes footage of Anna...! Well, let's hope this TV show will be a success so that we hopefully see Anna in the near future!

Behind the Glory tells us - ANNA CALLED SOLOMON :-)) / Maria vs Anna
Fox Sports Network aired "Behind the Glory", a great documentation about Anna's career! The documentation was different from VH1's "Driven" or E!. Topics were Anna's game, Anna's Dad and Mom and how she influenced her development etc.! Furthermore, Tennis Experts like Harold Solomon and Pam Shriver commented on Anna! The most interesting info in my opinion:

Harold said that Anna called him a couple of weeks ago and said she was interested in hitting again and try to see how things would work out :-)))))

Kansas City Explorers defeated Philadelphia Freedoms - 19-17! Anna could win her Mixed Doubles match but unfortunately lost her Women's Doubles match! Full Results:

WTT 2004 season over for Anna: The WTT 2004 season is over for Anna - she did play 4 times in 5 days for the Kansas City Explorers. Overall not the best outcome:
Anna lost 3 of her 4 Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles matches! Furthermore she just won 14 Mixed Doubles games and lost 17! In Women's Doubles she even lost 18 games and just managed to win 7 games together with Silvia Talaja!

Well, hopefully Anna knows better now how her back is doing, that's the most important thing!

KCE beats NY Buzz - Anna unsure about Singles / 3rd WTT event in Avon TODAY
The Kansas City Explorers beat the New York Buzz 19-16! Unfortunately Anna lost both of her matches and she didn't play Singles as well :-((( Full Results:

Good news - Anna did play Tennis for the Kansas City Explorers (KCE) but unfortunately not in Singles. She did play Doubles with Silvia Talaja (Victory) and Mixed Doubles with David Macpherson (Defeat) but overall the KCE lost after 5 sets of all competitions - 19:22 the score of games after 5 1-set-matches! WTT season starts TODAY at 7:30pm local / Weird - Ring Replica Site / Anna @ Good Morning America TV Show
Today is the day - Anna will play in her first out of 4 appearances at this year's World Team Tennis season. She's playing again for the Kansas City Explorers (KCE) and their first opponents is NY Sportimes. The event will take place at the 2000-seat stadium at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck and will start at 7:30pm local which means 1:30am (wednesday) CET.
Obviously chances that Anna will play Singles aren't that good anymore because David Macpherson (34 years old Australian, 9th WTT season) said that Silvija Talaja (26) will definitely play Doubles! Report

One thing is for sure - Anna will test her body at the upcoming WTT matches in July! I think these matches will show us if we can still hope for a WTA comeback in the future! That's what Anna said in Hamilton 13 days ago: "Every time that I see I'm getting better, it gets worse," said Kournikova. "I don't want to push it to the limit where I'm not going to be able to move ... I'm frustrated because I miss [tennis]." Let's pray that her back injury can take the pressure! WTT report

Anna & Enrique were in Las Vegas: According to the Las Vegas SUN, Anna and Enrique checked into the "Real World" suite at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas late sunday (June 27th) and had a reservation through Tuesday (June 29th)! At sunday night both were in the crowd at Rain (Palms) at the No Doubt concert - afterwards Gwen Stefani obviously greeted them all at the afterparty at ghostbar!
