Enrique their blessing after Anna took him to meet

PERSONAL COMMENT: Well, in the past I just thought "yellow press gossip" when I found british tabloid stuff but nowadays...! Anna and Enrique ALWAYS together since beginning of march, she's showing NO signs that she wants to play Tennis ever again, the recent Bali beach pictures where she was kissing him etc etc! Honestly, it would be a bigger surprise for me if Anna returns to the WTA Tour ever again...! Who would have thought THIS would happen 1 year ago???

fish) and Anna drank a bit of vodka. Mostly both

really true?!?! Today I first saw it in the german
BILD newspaper on the front page (Anna as the "loser
of the day") and thought "hey, this is just a joke!"
Many reports state that Anna is being taken to court
by her parents in a bid "to win two thirds of the
property they bought together in 2000" (a SOURCE
from the Evening Standard says). The mansion is
worth $5 Mio. and each party (mother, father, Anna)
owns a third. Why all this? "Mom and dad were her
managers and promoters. This was a house they all
shared. Anna and her parents fell out when they
stopped working together. It’s very sad but they are
all very stubborn." (Harold Rudolph, lawyer of

First of all, Anna and Enrique were in St.Petersburgh where Enrique had a concert on April 19. After the concert, they flew to Moscow in Enrique's private jet and their residence in Moscow is the Metropol hotel. According to reports, Enrique uses a black Jeep for transportation. ANNA HAS NO RANKING ANYMORE!!!! / Mumbai concert
As long as I know Anna (since September 3, 1996) THIS never happened - as of today, Anna hasn't got a Singles Ranking anymore! She lost her Doubles Ranking months ago and she was ranked 606th in Singles until yesterday...! What should I say? It is just so sad!!
Fact: She has to play 3 tournament WHEN she comes back to get a Ranking again - take a look into the WTA Tour Official Rules

Anna to play Wimbledon 2004??? / Anna continues touring with Enrique / Bali beach scan
Well, she just has cancelled an exhibition in Houston which doesn't really indicate her desire to play tennis (ok, might be that she was/is ill but she didn't take time for preparation!!!!)! Anyway - this thai websites obviously states that Anna recently said in an interview that she plans to play in Wimbledon this year!!! Perhaps someone can translate it? That would be great!

Anna continues touring with Enrique: Well,
she obviously was ill if she was supposed to play an
exhibition in Houston 2 days ago but now she's
already back at India - with Enrique, of course!
Both will arrive with Enrique's private jet this
evening in Mumbai (Anna was there in November 2003)
and they'll stay at the Shivaji suite (2500 square
foot, gym, sauna, 22-foot high ceilings, 2 bedrooms)
at the ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton. Luxury Anna
definitely is used to already...!
The concert will be on Sunday, April 11, 2004! Both
will jet off to Bangalore (concert on April 13th) on
Monday!
It's more than likely that Anna will continue to be
with Enrique on his world tour because he has
concerts in Moscow on April 21,22!

Houston exhibition cancelled due to Anna / Anna plays WTT / Ranking News
How disappointing is this??? First of all, Anna should arrive in Houston at wednesday evening but she missd the plane from Bali due to an Adidas photoshooting. So she flew from Bali to Los Angeles and then Houston. Tournament chairman, Bill Hurt, met Anna at the Airport in Houston and wasn't very confident when he saw her: "She was obviously jet-lagged and very tired, and she had a very raspy voice. She told me her doctor had diagnosed her with walking pneumonia." On the drive to the Hotel, Anna expressed some concern that playing on clay might be too taxing for her...! Full Story

PERSONAL COMMENT: I cannot remember that Anna ever had to cancel an exhibition due to health problems (BTW: What is "walking pneumonia"???)! I am disappointed but if you just take a look where Anna has been all over the world during the last weeks (Australia, Bali, Los Angeles, Singapore, Houston, Tahiti,...)! Anna is just human and well, the question automatically comes to my mind: IS ANNA REALLY INTERESTED IN PLAYING TENNIS ANYMORE???

of April 5th, Anna is ranked 606th in Singles (she
lost her 2 points from last year's Nasdaq 100 Open
in Miami) - this should be the last week that Anna
has a Singles Ranking anymore...! Why? By next week
she just has played 2 tournaments within the last 52
weeks and you have to have played at least 3
tournaments during the last 52 weeks to get a
Singles Ranking! How disappointing once again...

Houston organizers a few days ago. Anna about 22 as
a retirement age: "Yeah, I'm an old woman.
I never said I
retired. I definitely have the desire to return.
I only want to come back if I'm 100 percent, if my
body can withstand the six-hours-a-day practices and
playing matches. I don't want to do it halfway."

PERSONAL COMMENT: I think I shouldn't exaggerate
in a negative way when reports about Smoking,
touring with Enrique etc come up all the time. I
think we all can believe her more or less that she
REALLY wants to come back. She simply doesn't know
when she's fully able to!
Statement about news sources & giving credits:
I read it at the
official Messageboard (Members Photos-Section) -
someone complained that I write my website URL on
scans I found on that Messageboard, upload them to
my site and do not give any kind of credit to the
one who posted the Scan on the official Messageboard.
THAT'S RIGHT - and I am sorry! I will do that in the
future!
BUT: For all the news I post over here -
occassionally I give a credit ("Thanx to...") to
persons (well, to their nicknames), especially if
the news they came up with are VERY interesting (tennis-related
mostly).
Plus, if someone mails me and helps me categorizing
pictures from the Various Gallery I ALWAYS give a
short "Thanx..."-credit in the "Updates"-Section!
I also ALWAYS ask for permission before I use any
pictures someone made with his own camera - take a
look into the Photos-Section!
Bottom line: I will give people credit for scans they post (which I post in the "Kourni World"-section) and for "general" pictures they also found somewhere else on the web IF it's not just 1,2 pictures!!!! If I would do that the whole Anna Kournikova Forever Site would consist of "Thank you"'s!
And one last thing: Of course I find almost ALL my news on the official Messageboard but where would YOU search for news if you would be the webmaster of this website???
ADDITIONAL COMMENT: You could ask now "Why this website when you get all newsfrom the official Messageboard??" - Well, beside general news and thousands of pictures I also offer footage (photos / videos) from MY personal trips to tournaments (Filderstadt, Leipzig, Warsaw)! I also offer a DVD Videostore, specials from time to time ("2003 Special" just to mention one) and unique things like Photostories etc.! So I think that I have a reason to maintain this website!

this article it seemed more or less confirmed
that Anna will be attending Enrique's concerts in
India, too. He has 2 concerts - the first one at the
MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Curla Complex in Mumbai (Anna
was there in November 2003), on April 11th and the
second one at the Palace Grounds, Bangalore, on
April 13th!
